Two new faces join the Peppard team

Regular visitors will notice we have two new faces on our sales team.

Lisa Hall and Graham Bryant joined our team at the end of 2015 and both have previous experience in building supplies across the Reading and Henley areas.

Graham is a mine of information, having worked in the builders’ merchant trade for 25 years from independents, like Peppard Building Supplies through to national chains.

He explained: “I joined Peppard because I wanted to work for an independent merchant once more.

“As an independent, every customer is very important to us at Peppard and we have to build that long-term relationship.

“When a customer comes in, they can speak to sales, accounts and decision makers all in one place, which makes for a far better over-all service.”

Our other new starter, Lisa, has worked at a brick factor and understands life on the other side of the counter.

“I’m married to a builder, and used to work with him on the administration and accounts, so I know first hand how important it is to get stock where it’s needed, when it’s needed,” she said.

“I’m still learning a lot about the breadth of products at Peppard, but I do understand how sites run and that has been invaluable.”

Lisa, who lives in Reading, said she is enjoying the camaraderie of the Peppard team.

“I like to keep everybody happy and the atmosphere positive, so it’s been great to join such a close team and develop good relationships with staff and customers,” she added.

Sales and marketing director of Peppard Building Supplies Ru Butler said: We are very fortunate to have added Graham and Lisa to our team, as both have quickly become real assets to the company.

“Graham has a great depth of product knowledge, which means he can advise customers and deal with technical queries.

“Lisa has a brought real dynamism to the workplace and it’s refreshing to see the positive impact she has on the team.”
